Legalisation service for marriage in Thailand
Regarding the legalities and the legal services we offer
All our packages are purely symbollic. No Wedding in Thailand is legal and recognised in your home countries unless relevant procedures have been followed.
It will involve a 2/4 night stay in Bangkok,(depending upon the date of arrival), and you will need to be here at least 6 days prior to the wedding date.
We prepare the necessary paperwork for you in advance for submission to the British embassy.
On the first working day after your arrival in Bangkok one of our representatives will meet you at your hotel and escort you to the British Embassy where you submit the required forms ( these verify that you are single and free to marry). This process results in completed affirmations which then must be collected from the Embassy , normally the following day , translated into Thai at a recognised translation bureau and taken for submission and authorisation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
With our service , once you have been to the British Embassy and submitted the freedom to marry forms, providing you sign over a power of attorney to ourselves then we can continue with the collection, translation and authorisation on your behalf.
Our representative will get all the relevant paperwork endorsed in Bangkok the the documents are then passed to our offices on Koh Samui. Then we contact the Registrars office on the Island and we further endorse the paperwork and arrange the final legalities for you.If you wish we can even arrange for the Registrar to be present at your Wedding to complete all the paperwork, or else we arrange for you to complete the paperwork at the registrars office.
ALL IN ALL our service allows you more free time and reduces the length of your stay in Bangkok. It saves you having the stress of organising the paperwork.
